Pharos, a private equity firm, hired MMM+B to recover the more than $12 million investment it lost on account of the misrepresentations and negligence of Deloitte & Touche and other professional advisor defendants. The defendants were advisors to National Century Financial Enterprises, a health care receivables funding firm in which Pharos had invested.
